Dungeons & Dragons 2024 (D&D) Feat: Spirit Bonded

You have formed a friendship with a spirit, who wishes to act as your familiar.

You learn the Find Familiar spell and can cast it without components or a spell slot. When you cast it in this way, your familiar ignores the restriction that prevents it from attacking. After you cast the spell with this feat, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long rest.

When you select this feat, choose one of the following familiar forms: Aboling, Anveleon, Brainmuncher, Caprisoul, Death Shroud, Dire Bunny, Handipede, Hyphan, Rakitten, Redwing, Slaghund Pup, Squirebug, Sunsnacker, Tatzling, and Waxolotl.

You can summon your familiar in the chosen form or one of those listed in the spell’s description. When you summon your familiar in the chosen form, it gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your level, and the level 1 improvement on its Improvement Tree. When you reach level 5, these Temporary Hit Points are doubled, and you can also grant it one of the level 3 improvements on its Improvement Tree.
