2-level Abjuration
You empower your strike with divine wards. When you hit a creature with an attack, the target suffers the weapon attack's normal effects, and the attack deals an extra 1d8 radiant damage.
For the duration, when the target attempts to move, makes an attack, or uses a spell or ability that would harm another creature, they must first make a Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the spell ends. On a failure, they waste their turn attempting to escape your wards, and any spell they cast fails, with any spell slot used being wasted.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd-level or higher, the additional damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
