5-level Abjuration
A translucent, 20-foot radius sphere of magical force appears and protects creatures within its boundary. It is centered on you, and moves with you. The sphere has 8d6 hit points, and for the duration it blocks ranged attacks and area-of-effect spells and abilities that would pass through its boundary, absorbing their damage. The sphere is immune to force damage. If the sphere is reduced to 0 hit points, it disappears. Otherwise it disappears at the start of your next turn.

When you cast the spell using a spell slot of 6th-level or higher, the amount of damage the sphere absorbs increases by 1d6 for each slot above 5th.
