This spell allows the spellcaster to quickly duplicate anything he can see onto a nearby flat surface. An arcane pen immediately begins to draw the visual contents of one 5 ft sq per level onto the chosen writing surface. If the surface is too small, the drawing will be scaled down (possibly losing detail). It takes one round per 5 ft. square to complete the drawing. It is always drawn in black ink. This spell is fooled by illusions, or anything the caster cannot perceive. For example, if a creature is hiding using stealth, if the caster did not notice them with a perception check, they will not be drawn into the image.
