Lydia is the older sister to Lysandra. They never got along. Lydia blamed Lysandra for the death of Jeric as they were riding together when he fell off his horse and died. She fell in love early and married a good man Thomas Longstring (a bowyer by trade). The Longstring family was never one of wealth, but one much respected by merchants and hunters. Never did the Longstring family have to ask for any of the Davinstein fortune. Lydia has always resented her younger sister for the family that she married into. She believes that she did it out of greed and not love. She will not hear any differently. She has one son (Owen) who is carrying on with the family and is also a fine bowyer. She lives off of the Davinstein property in a modest home. Motive to steal the brooch: to gain power back from her sister.
