Vecna (The whispered one) in Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Vecna (The whispered one)

A powerful mage drunk with power in the early of days of the waking scream. Sought to find a way to become as powerful as the gods. He was successful somehow and ascended. Worked in the shadows. Hard to track. In various battles as a whisper. A number of other mages attempted to rise up and take his fame, always ended grimly and publicly. In the last days of the scream, 3 different accounts of the tierfall mentions vecna seeking to inter fear. He had a large following but were hunted after the tear fall. Last of his followers passed his eye among them and when the last fell at the battle of gothica, where at the time leaders of the 5 largest clans gathered at Gothica and fought their leader Corrupted Solar, Korrigon. They hoped to recover the eye, but it wasn’t there and hasn’t been recovered.
