Psionic
You focus your mental energies into a mindspike, aimed at a target. The target takes 1 damage per PSI point spent on the ability and the attack targets the mind of the victim. The victim must make a mental save against the damage. Armor does not protect them.
A psion under the influence of Mental Shield must make an opposed check against your attack. The one with the highest success wins. If you win, the target takes the listed damage, reduced by their Psion trait. If the target wins the check, they completely block the attack, taking no damage.
