Northern Smithing. You receive a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. Frost Edge. Every day at dawn this sword forms a thin layer of razor sharp ice on its edge. The first five successful attacks you make deal an extra 1d4 cold damage, then the ice melts A Touch of Cold. Once per day as an action, you can stick the sword in a surface of water to create a layer of ice in a 15ft radius. All creatures in this area must succeed a Strength DC12 saving throw or they are locked in the ice and considered restrained. When no creatures are restrained in the ice, it melts away harmlessly. While the ice persist, it is considered rough terrain and any creature which steps on it must succeed a Dexterity DC8 saving throw or be knocked prone.

This Lashloch longsword has a shallow curve and is etched with a relief depicting a large snowflake.
