Very Rare Requires Attunement

While attuned to this cloak, you may shift between two of its states at dawn or during a long rest.

Light State. You have resistance to necrotic damage. Your spells and attacks ignore resistance to radiant damage. Moreover, when you restore hit points to a creature, you may additionally grant them temporary hit points equal to half the amount healed.

Dark State. You have resistance to radiant damage. Your spells and attacks ignore resistance to necrotic damage. Moreover, when you deal damage to a creature, you may choose to take psychic damage equal to half the damage dealt. If you do so, the target cannot regain hit points until the start of your next turn.
