Parry - When an opponent attempts to attack you in Melee range, you may use this weapon to attempt to intercept the attack by using your Reaction. Make an attack roll against the target, if your attack roll beats theirs, you Parry the attack and deflect the blow.
Riposte - On a successful Parry, you may attempt attack the target that attacked you by using your rapier.
Special Maneuvers
Guard Stance - After making an attack and while in melee range of only one opponent, raise your weapon with the tip pointed down and your hand raised high as a Bonus Action. Your chosen opponent has Disadvantage on their melee attacks against you, you have Advantage on your parries, don't need to spend your Reaction to Parry, but you cannot Riposte, until the start of your next turn. Once you have used this maneuver, you may not use it again until after your next turn.
Lunging Thrust - Step forward 5 feet to make an attack against an opponent within 10 feet of you and return to where you were standing without using movement or provoking opportunity attacks. This deals AP IV Piercing damage. This maneuver can be performed once per turn.

Dueling Weapon - While there is only one target within 10 feet of you, you add your Proficiency Bonus to your damage rolls and your Parry and Riposte attack rolls with this weapon.
Protected Handguard - This weapon features a basket hilt designed to protect the hand and prevents disarmament.

A specialized, pointed weapon that excels in one-on-one combat, the rapier offers both protection for the hand and great offensive capabilities, allowing the user to step into an offensive position to extend the reach of the weapon a greater distance than other similar weapons would afford.
